Zenfolio Galleries (“the App”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.

Zenfolio Galleries may collect or access the following information in order to provide app functionality:

Zenfolio account information that you enter in the App
Photos, gallery data, and image metadata are retrieved from the Zenfolio websites you choose to view
Device information necessary for app performance and compatibility
Purchase information related to In-App Purchases, as provided by Apple
Optional network information needed to load galleries and stream content to Chromecast-compatible devices

2. How We Use Information

The App uses information only to provide its features, including:

Displaying Zenfolio websites and galleries
Supporting multiple Zenfolio accounts
Generating AI-based image captions
Enabling Chromecast streaming
Restoring and validating eligible In-App Purchases
Improving app stability and performance

3. AI Image Captioning

Zenfolio Galleries may use AI-based processing to generate image captions. Caption results are intended to help describe image content and may not always be perfectly accurate.

4. In-App Purchases

The App offers optional In-App Purchases to unlock additional account slots or features. Purchases are processed by Apple, not by the developer directly. We do not receive your full payment card information.

5. Data Sharing

The App does not sell your personal information.

Information may be shared only as necessary with:

Apple, for App Store services and In-App Purchases
Zenfolio, to retrieve galleries and related content you request
Google Chromecast services, when you choose to cast content
Service providers or infrastructure used strictly to support app functionality, if applicable

6. Data Storage

Account and app-related information may be stored locally on your device and, where supported by Apple, may also be stored through Apple services associated with your account or backups.

7. Third-Party Services

The App may interact with third-party platforms, including:

Zenfolio
Apple App Store / In-App Purchase services
Google Chromecast / Google Cast services

Your use of those services may also be subject to their own privacy policies and terms.

8. Children’s Privacy

Zenfolio Galleries is not directed specifically to children under 13. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Your Choices

You may choose not to enter your Zenfolio account information or not to use optional features such as AI captioning or Chromecast. You may also remove the App from your device at any time.

10. Security

Reasonable measures are used to protect information handled by the App. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
